Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Allan Randall "Randy" Norman, age 67, who passed away on June 2, 2025, in Columbus, Ohio. He was born on November 22, 1957, in Youngstown, Ohio to the late Raymond and Hazel Norman.

Randy was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and grandfather. He was a devoted family man, who believed in hard work and putting family first. He worked as a skilled carpenter for over 40 years, enjoying home remodeling and repair. He loved old muscle cars, classic rock, sharing stories of his childhood, OSU football, the Florida sun, going on long walks with grandchildren, dancing silly to make them laugh, and spending time with his family and close friends. He was a straight shooter, with an easy-going personality who loved to laugh and could find humor even in difficult circumstances. He lit up the room, making his presence known with his positive attitude and kindness. He was always up for an adventure and would show up for his loved ones no matter what.

He is preceded in death by his wife Kathleen Norman, brothers, Ray Norman, David Norman; sisters Katherine Kelly, Debbie Miller and longtime companion Charlette Browning.

He is survived by his children, Allan (Jay) Norman Jr., Michael Norman, Noah Norman, Brian Norman, and Amanda Wallace; brother Jon Norman; grandchildren, Alexis Norman, David Michael Norman, Caleb Norman, Destiny Norman, Noah Norman Jr., Hailey Norman, Faith Norman, Kayla Hardin, Kathleen Norman, Brittany Norman, Kylee Norman, Zariana, Elijah, Samuel; great grandchildren Enzo, Tyler, Elianna, Nevaeh; nieces, Patricia Kurts, Micah Jones, Cindy Miller, Debbie Miller, Kim Ortman, Kathy Miller; nephews, David Hutton, Johnny Miller.
