Kathy Hickey passed away peacefully at her home in Heinzerling Community on August 8, 2025, at the age of 54.

She is survived by her mother Helen Hickey, brothers Dan Hickey and Joe Hickey, sisters Ruth Hickey and Deb Greene, and many loving extended family members. She is preceded in death by her father Dan Hickey, sister Cathy Hickey and brother Dick Hickey.

Kathy taught us about resilience, compassion and the beauty of simple joys. Her laughter and her presence touched the lives of all who knew her. Now free from all earthly burdens, Kathy has spread her wings and become the angel we always knew her to be. Though we grieve deeply, we find peace in knowing that she soars freely and watches over us with that same gentle spirit.

A service will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at 1:00 PM in the community event center at the home of Helen Hickey, 2805 Avati Drive, Columbus, Ohio.
