April Andrian
Halves
Apr 2, 1984 — Apr 13, 2026
Columbus
April Andrian Halves, age 42, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 13, 2026.
April was born on April 2, 1984, in Columbus, Ohio, to Thomas G. Andrian and Elizabeth A. Andrian. She was a graduate of Whitehall High School and attended Kaplan University.
April was a loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend. Her humor, wit, and warm presence brought light into the lives of everyone who knew her. She had a personality that could fill a room—smart, funny, sharp, and deeply genuine. April had a remarkable gift for making people feel comfortable, cared for, and understood. She truly was an angel here on Earth.
Above all else, April was devoted to her family. She shared 25 beautiful years with her husband, David Lee Halves, a marriage built on love, loyalty, and a lifetime of memories. Together, they created a loving home and strong foundation for their children, Brianna and DJ, who were her greatest joy and proudest accomplishment. Her love for them was constant and unwavering, and she poured her heart into being their mom every single day.
April will be remembered for her quick wit, infectious sense of humor, and the way she could make any moment feel a little brighter. She enjoyed NASCAR, the Indy 500, cheering on The Ohio State Buckeyes, quilting, and—most of all—spending time with her family and friends. These simple joys reflected the heart of who she was: someone who valued love, connection, and togetherness.
April is survived by her husband, David Lee Halves; daughter, Brianna Halves; son, David Halves, Jr.; mother, Elizabeth Andrian; bonus parents David and Jody Halves; brother, Jacob Andrian; sisters, Constance Andrian, Jennafer Andrian, and Jenifer Halves.
She is also survived by her aunts Becky Parham (Steve Stanley) and Christina Andrian Pethtel; uncles Terry Hoover, Ron Obernolte, and David (Stephanie) Andrian; nieces Neveah Garten, Savanah Reyna, and Alyssa Schrader; nephew Thomas Andrian; cousins Sarah (James) Franklin, Emalie Santana, Terry J. Hoover, Ashlie Layland, Megan (James) Phillips, Kalib Amos, and Zachary (Kelly) Amos, Heidi Tatum (Bill); great-cousins Devin (Kaylan) Davie, Brandy Santana, Angelina Santana, Elijah Jones, Leah Jones, Kianga Hoover, Xavier Hoover, Jaxon Hoover, Laila Knight, Luxon Layland, Ellie Phillips, Phoenix Phillips, Jack Phillips, Rowen Amos, Bliss Amos, and Hayes Amos; her best friends, Tiffany Wilhelm and Courtney Thomas; and numerous other relatives and close friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas G. Andrian; her Mom-Nanny, Natalie Obernolte; and her maternal and paternal grandparents, who most certainly welcomed her with open arms.
Though her time here was far too short, the love April gave so freely will continue to live on through her family and everyone who was so fortunate to know her. Her absence leaves an unimaginable void, but her memory will remain a source of strength and comfort. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
