Barbara Kay Cassidy-LaMartz died peacefully on Thursday, April 17, 2025. She was born on May 5, 1955 at Grant Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She attended Northland High School and later the Ohio Institute of Technology. She was a member of Worthington Chapter #287, OES.  Her primary occupation was as a home care-giver. She cared for several members of her family during illness and surgery recovery. She also provided care for 2 of her great aunts as well as her mother once they were home bound until the time of their demise. She was the embodiment The Giving Tree, giving completely of herself for the sake of others. Her family was of utmost importance to her.

She was preceded in death by husband, Walter LaMartz, her mother, Mary Cassidy Zeiszler, her father William Cassidy as well as her beloved grandson Phillip House IV.

She is survived by her daughter Amy (Phill) House III, her brother William (Michelle) Cassidy, her grandson William House, her niece Shannon Cassidy as well as adopted family and special friends.

Friends may call on Monday, April 21, 2025 from 5-7pm EVANS FUNERAL HOME 4171 East Livingston Ave.  Columbus, OH where the Memorial Service will take place Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at 12pm with calling hours 1 hour prior.
