Betty Jean (Williams) Cobb died peacefully at home on February 6, 2023. Born December 6, 1925 in Milton, WV. She graduated from Worthington High School. She worked for 35 years at Borden dairy where she met the love of her life, Sam. She was a member of First Congregational church. In retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She taught them to sew, crochet and bake. Her famous oatmeal raisins cookies even won awards. She donated her time to Touching Little Lives and contributed over 350 baby afghans. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Samuel Cobb Jr and her parents Iva and Hollie Williams. Survived by daughter, Connie (Michael) Ambos and son, Ron Cobb; grandchildren Kelly (Andrew) Croce, Steven (Heather) Ambos and Holly and Brice Cobb and their mother, Teresa Cobb; great grandchildren, Madison and Katelynn Croce and Hunter and Nina Ambos. The family wishes to thank Mike, Stephanie, Sherri, Rob, Audra, Natalie, Shelby, and Sara as well as social worker Sholanda from Central Ohio Hospice for their care and compassion. Friends may call Thursday, February 9, 2023, 5-8 PM EVANS FUNERAL HOME 4171 E. Livingston Ave. where funeral service will be held Friday, February 10, 2023, 10:30 AM. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Pastor Jerry Sickles officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family is suggesting donations be made to Central Ohio Hospice at https://www.hospiceofcentralohio.org/ .
