Betty Yvonne "Betty Boop" Lamb (née Nelson) passed away after a battle with breast cancer on Friday, August 13, 2021 in Pataskala, OH at the age of 80. Betty was born on June 1 ^st , 1941 in Richlands, VA to Rosa B. Ball, but adopted by her beloved parents George Alvis & Chloe Emmaline Nelson shortly after birth.

She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings and other family including her beloved sister Ada Norine Jewell, son Timothy K. Hodges and husband William A. Lamb Sr.

Betty is survived by many that she loved; however, those dearest to her include son William A. Lamb Jr., son Luther W. Hodges Jr. & wife Belinda Hodges, daughter Rita D. Barkstall, grandchildren Jeremy D. Hodges & Larina M. Jamison,  great grandchildren Anna Stewart, Kylie Hodges, Peyton Hodges & Dylan Hodges, and nieces Hilda Garrido, Norma Richardson, Carolyn Baldwin Pyles, & Clara Jewell.

Betty is no longer climbing the rough side of the mountain and is now at peace with her beloved. She will never be forgotten.
