Betty Jean Morez, age 68, passed away unexpectedly on March 13, 2023. She was born to Tom and Phyllis Hyatt in Welch, West Virginia on August 28, 1954. Bette is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her son, Robert; her grandson, Thomas; her sister, Yolanda (George); her niece, Sonja (Keith); her nephew, Michael (Shana); and a legacy of beloved great-nieces and nephews (Ian, Bailey, Brooke, Ali, Ethan, Eli, Lillian and Kylie). Bette was a fierce friend and a loyal family member. She would tell you like it is and would never shy away from doing all that she could for anyone in need. She was also a passionate dog owner of Sammy (recently passed), and her new furry friend, Bodhi.  In lieu of flowers, a kind donation can be made in Bette's memory to the Franklin County Dog Shelter & Adoption Center. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023, from 12-2 PM at Evans Funeral Home at 4171 East Livingston Avenue.
