Betty Jean Paas, age 96, Tuesday March 26, 2024 at Violet Springs.  Survived by son Mike (Jama) Paas; grandchildren Fred (Melody) Paas, Kelly (Mike) Myers, Rocco (Kayla) Paas, Marco (Andrea) Paas, Carolynn Paas, Aaron (Danielle) McKenzie, Matthew Paas, Mallory (Ricky) Gonzales; many great grandchildren; other loving family and friends.  Preceded in death by parents Edward and Hazel Smith; sons Fred and Bobby Paas; brothers Earl and Jim Smith.  Funeral service Monday, April 1, 2024 6PM, EVANS FUNERAL HOME 4171 E. Livingston Ave. where friends may call from 4PM until time of service. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
