Bruce Fredrick Mooar (Failing), aged 63, suddenly left us on September 16th, 2022, to be with Jesus. Bruce was born in Grand Rapids, MI on November 20, 1958, to Robert and Sheila Failing. He was an identical twin and was the third of seven boys. He was a Tool and Die Maker Journeyman at work but extended his skills at home. Bruce's creativity can be seen all around his house from items made with his 3D printer, metal castings, bronze statues (one was even made and given to the Pope), handcrafted jewelry, to beautifully crafted gardens. When he wasn't creating, you could find Bruce grilling, watching movies with his wife, or playing with his grandsons. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him. Bruce is preceded in death by father, Robert Failing, and brothers Robert "Robbie" Failing and Tom Failing. Bruce leaves behind his wife of 9 years, Linda Mooar; children Stephanie (Donald) Tempinson, Christopher Failing, and Emily Allred; mother Sheila Failing; brothers John Failing, Tim (Kathy) Failing, Brian (Julie) Failing, James (Lori) Failing; and sister-in-law Suzi Failing; grandchildren Jack Allred, Charlie Allred, and William Allred; along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be held for Bruce at Evans Funeral Home in Columbus, OH on September 24, 2022, from 12:00-1:00 pm followed by a service. All who knew Bruce are welcomed to attend. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate assistance with funeral costs.
