Caroline Blamer (Simmons), age 87, of Pataskala, Ohio, passed away peacefully on November 6th, 2023. She was born in Dayton, OH on April 30, 1936 to Ray and Grace Dodd Simmons.

Carol was married to her husband Ross Blamer up until his passing in 2005. She is preceded in death by her husband Ross, her parents, and six siblings. She is survived by her children Eddie (Sheri) Blamer, James (Joetta) Vannoy, Ray (Marcie) Vannoy and Angela Sink; Dorthy Deyoung; niece Cathie wood; great niece Patti Arnold and also five grandchildren  James Jr. (Elizabeth) Blamer, Justin (Alyssa) Blamer, Jacob Blamer, Jordan(Grace) Blamer, Jenna Blamer, Jeremy (Carrie) Moss, and Wesley(Amanda) Young, as well as many more grandkids and  lots of  great-grandchildren that she loved.

Carol graduated from Vincent High School Class of 1954. She loved spending time with her family and friends as well as playing bingo. She helped out with volunteer work at food pantries throughout the years.

In Lieu of flowers, some of you have reached out and asked how you can help us during this time. Know that your kindness is much appreciated as we navigate this heartbreaking moment. We kindly ask, if you are able to, to donate funds towards the funeral service, as we hope to carry out all of Carol Blamer's final wishes. A funeral service will be held for family and close friends to honor the life of Carol who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
