Carolyn L Ray age 73 passed away suddenly January 3rd 2024 at Mount Carmel East Hospital. Graduate of St. Mary's High School class of 1968. She is 1 of 7 children. Married to her loving husband Ronald Ray for 17 years. They had 3 rambunctious, but amazingly loving boys, Shawn, Corey, and Chris.  She had 3 beautiful granddaughters named Taylor, La'Nessa, and Brittany who she wished lived closer. She also had 3 great grandchildren Cali, Santana and Roman. She loved her TV shows, the Waltons and Little House On The Prairie the most. She had lived with her youngest son Chris and his wife for the past 13 years in Whitehall Ohio. She loved her Vegas vacations with her oldest son Shawn and best friend Sue. She loved spending time in Springfield with her middle son Corey. She loved life and lived her life to her fullest. Survived by her 3 children, Shawn (Dawn)Ray, Corey (Christina) Ray, Chris (Shawna) Ray; Granddaughters Taylor Crum, La'Nessa (Troy) Hughes, Brittany Garman; Brother-in-law Fred Ray. Many nieces and nephews and many cousins and friends. Preceded in death by her husband Ronald Ray, Mother; Margaret Marshall, Father; Warren Marshall, Sisters Louise Fraiser, Patty Straight, Marilyn Browning and Joanne; Sister -in-Law Judy Ray; Brothers Bill Marshall, and Larry Marshall.
