Charlene Martin, age 75 passed away Sunday, January 5, 2025.  She was born January 13, 1949, in Norton, Virginia.  A woman of strong character, Charlene dedicated her life to her family. She treasured every moment she got to spend with her children, grandchildren, and especially her great-grandchildren. She instilled in them her sense of humor, the joy of singing and dancing, and the importance of hard work and dedication in all their pursuits.  Charlene had a vivacious personality and always made everyone's day brighter. She was also a loving but determined matriarch, known for chasing her boys when they were young to keep them on the straight and narrow. Her playful, yet firm guidance left a lasting impression on all those she loved. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Preceded in death by husband and life partner Donald E. Martin; son Donald Martin Jr; parents John and Martha Anderson; sister Henrietta Rees and brother Roy Anderson.  Survived by daughters, Cathy (John) Holloway, Stacey (Matthew) Call; daughter-in-law, Kimberly Martin; grandchildren, Donald (Meghan) Martin, II, Jessica Martin, Amanda Ferree; great grandchildren, Phoenix, Ember, Scarlett, Kyndle; son, James Henderson; brother John (Rebecca) Anderson, sister Peggy (Franklin) Archer, other loving family and friends.  Inurnment Lithopolis Cemetery.
