Charles Anthony Populus age 78, passed away Thursday, April 29, 2021.  Retired from the USPS after 38 years of service.  Veteran USAF as an MP stationed at Lockbourne AFB.  He was Commander of the American Legion Whitehall Post #490.  He grew up in Loranger, Louisiana where his family ran a dairy farm.  He loved horses, fishing and volunteering his time for charities.  Survived by loving wife, Susan Populus; children, James Cornwell, Michael (Julie) Williams, Sandy Populus; grandchildren Casey Cornwell, Ashley (Brick) Bankes, Hannah Williams, Kaitlyn (Albert) Kramer, Gabriel Williams, Sean Williams; great grandchildren, Addison, Riley, Elliot; other loving family and friends.  Funeral service Thursday May 6, 2021 3:00 PM EVANS FUNERAL HOME 4171 E. Livingston Ave. where friends may call from 1:00 PM until time of service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Nationwide Children's Hospital.
