Celebration of Life for Charlie Robson

Charles (Chuck, Charlie) Robson passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, March 6 ^th surrounded by his adored wife, Helen and family members.  On March 17, 2022, Charlie and Helen would have celebrated 65 years of marriage.

Charlie attended the Ohio State University where he played football as a quarterback and pitched baseball.  One of the highlights of his time as a Buckeye was playing in the National Championship at the Rose Bowl in 1954.

Following his time at Ohio State, Charlie went on to marry the love of his life and they began their journey together.  Charlie taught at Columbus City Schools and coached football, baseball and wrestling.  He retired from teaching to enjoy time with Helen, travel the world, and make memories with his growing family.  Charlie was many things in his life - teacher, coach, husband, and father.  Above all else, he loved his family and his wife - Helen was his greatest joy.

Charlie is survived by his loving wife Helen, three sons and their spouses: Chuck Robson Sr., Joe (Stephanie) Robson and Andy (Holly)Robson, seven grandchildren:  Bekah (Christopher) Dinnell, Nick (Coryn) Robson, Samantha (Jade) Robson, Emily (Doug) Schmaltz, Ben (Amanda) Wemer, Seth and Zachary Robson, 15 great grandchildren:  Sayla, Hannah, Lydia, Elisha, Nora, Judah, Chloe, Jasper, Eleanor, Levi, Silas, Amelia, Samuel, Lucy and Penny.

Funeral service Friday, March 11, 20222, 2:00 PM EVANS FUNERAL HOME 4171 E. Livingston Ave.  where friends may call 1 hour prior to service.  Pastor Christopher Dinnell officiating.  Interment Glen Rest Cemetery.
