Obituary

Cheryl “Cherrie” Hasbrook (nee Gatterdam), age 81, of Canal Winchester, Ohio passed away on August 29, 2026. Cherrie was a longtime employee of Roman’s Pizza in Canal Winchester. She was an avid Ohio State football fan; a passion she inherited from her parents’ love of the Buckeyes. Above all, Cherrie cherished time with her family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Hasbrook, parents Nick and Ruth Gatterdam, and her brother Nickie Gatterdam. She is survived by her son, Scott (Becky) Hasbrook; her daughter Debbie (Russ) Henslee; her grandchildren, Jordan Turner, Cole (Dani) Henslee, Gabby Hasbrook, Tyler (Ivy) Hasbrook, and Brandon Hasbrook; great grandchildren, Hadley Turner, Charlie Turner, Camryn Henslee, Lettie Henslee, Marley Henslee, and Sawyer Hasbrook. Cherrie will be remembered for her devotion to family, her love of the Buckeyes and the lasting impact she made on those who knew her. Funeral service Saturday, September 5, 2026, 10:00 AM Evans Funeral Home 4171 E. Livingston Ave. where friends may call 1 hour prior to service. Interment Franklin Hills Memory Gardens. Please feel free to wear your Buckeye gear! Please join us for a celebration of life/Buckeyes game day luncheon immediately following the burial. All are welcome to join.
