Cheryl Skinner, age 74, passed away Friday, December 23, 2022, at Hospice of Cincinnati in Cincinnati Ohio. She was born and grew up in Lafayette Indiana. She lived in the Columbus area in the early and mid-1970s. She lived in Marion Indiana in the late 1970s and lived in the Cincinnati area for the remainder of her life beginning in 1980. She worked for the Veterans Administration for about 30 years first as a nurse aide and then as a Registered Nurse.   She earned her Associates degree in Nursing in 1984 from Maysville Community College. She earned a certification in critical care nursing. She is preceded in death by her parents Earnest and Arloa Hollcraft. In 1976 she married Gordon Skinner who also preceded her in death in 1995. She is survived by her sons, Bret Skinner of Long Beach, California, Brock Skinner of Amelia, Ohio, and Michael (Beth) Skinner of Batavia, Ohio, her two granddaughters, Mrs. Brittany (Kevin) Croswell and Miss Jordan Skinner. She is also survived by two great grandchildren, Carly and Bentley Croswell.  She also leaves behind her sister Jane Blair of Marion Indiana and her brother John (Judy) Hollcraft, three sister in-laws Karen (Foster) Skinner and Barb (Richard) Skinner and Diana (Mark) Hollingsworth and many nieces and nephews. She was an avid reader and a Life Master bridge player. Funeral service Thursday, December 29, 2022, 1:00 PM EVANS FUNERAL HOME 4171 E. Livingston Ave. where friends may call 1 hour prior to service. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.
