Christopher Aaron Fermenti, better-known as "Ogre," passed away April 26th, 2024, at The Ohio State Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital in Columbus, Ohio at the young age of 48. Aaron, a 1993 graduate of Whitehall-Yearling High School, was born in Columbus, Ohio April 20th, 1976, to Anna and Timothy Fermenti. A lifelong resident of Whitehall, Aaron enjoyed Magic the Gathering, reading, and playing pool as a member of the APA and BCA leagues. He retired from Hewlett-Packard as a Field Engineer

Aaron is survived by brothers Joey (Ashleigh) Van-Horn, Andrew (Ayla Knapp) Van-Horn, Shawn (Jenny) Dalton, nephews Archer Van-Horn and Connor, Liam, and Matty Dalton. Aunt Michele Fermenti (Randy) Roberts, many cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Timothy Fermenti, and mother, Anna Fermenti, Grandmother Jean Berry, Nana Patricia Fermenti, and Pawpaw Jim Fermenti.

Per his request, there will be no funeral service for Aaron, but rather a Celebration of Life which is scheduled for Saturday, May 4th from 1pm to 5pm at the Whitehall VFW located at 4100 East Main Street, Whitehall, Ohio 43213. Please join family and friends to share in our memories of our remarkable friend, Aaron Fermenti.

Special thanks are given to the many staff of Ross Hospital that helped care for Aaron. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Aaron's name to Columbus Metropolitan Library- Whitehall Branch or The Ohio State's Heart and Vascular Center Fund.
