Our Dad, Clarence Lloyd Pence passed away Thursday July 1, 2021, at the age of 89 years. His wife Gisela Elizabeth preceded him in death 23 years ago.  They both were married for a happy and eventful 46 years.  Our Dad is the last of his many siblings all born in Circleville Ohio.  He was a retired US Army combat medic who served in Korea and twice in Vietnam.  Among his numerous medals were two Purple Hearts and a Bronze Star.  Surviving him are his sons:  Harold (Melody), Jesse (Helen), Ralph (Lynne), and Frank (Julie) and daughters: Angela (Scotty) Cuthbert and Sonja (Danny) Blackburn. Our Dad is survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, and they too share our grief; and with that there is his sister-in-law Virginia (Ginny) Pence and his friend Ann. After his military career, our Dad was a long time employee of the US Postal Service who worked at the Main Post Office. And there, he loved playing euchre with his good friend Pat Davis. Our Dad was all ears when it came to the music of Hank Williams (Sr), Johnny Cash, Dean Martin, and Frank Sinatra. He was fond of karaoke and the joy it gave to all who participated. We loved our Dad.  Already we miss him.  Goodbye Dad, and hopefully when our time comes:  We will meet again.  Funeral service Saturday, July 10, 2021, 9:00 AM EVANS FUNERAL HOME 4171 E.
