We are saddened to announce the passing of our sweet David who died unexpectedly from a seizure on November 25th, 2021 at the age of 9. David died peacefully in his mother's arms.

David Vlade Nestorovski was born on November 5th, 2012 to parents Igor and Marjana Nestorovski, and sister Anna, whom he loved the most. He came into this world with a purpose to bring a new form of joy into our lives and teach many the true meaning of unconditional love. Born with a genetic condition which impacted both his physical and mental development, David defied all odds, proving all of the doctors wrong. Even though his diagnosis was that he could never walk or even hold his head up, he started walking at the age of 5. Even running at some point!

David attended Rosehill Elementary school and was in 3 ^rd Grade. He absolutely loved school, especially riding the bus, and was loved by all of his teachers, aides and therapists. David could not talk, but he was able to express his needs and love in many different ways. He was a happy little boy who smiled at everyone, loved to cuddle, loved to go different places, enjoyed walks in the parks, playing in the tub at night, and enjoyed watching Mickey Mouse. Despite his disability, David was constantly finding new ways to expressive himself and interact with his family. A simple look from David could say a thousand words, that no person with the ability to talk could even express. He began struggling with epilepsy within the past couple of years, but never allowed it to stop him from being happy. Within the last year, doctors tried different medications and diets to help eliminate the seizures, most recently adding the CBD Oil to his treatment.

David's favorite thing to do was to spend time with his sister, and 'annoy' her in any possible way he can, one being playfully kicking her in the face. He showed affection in his own unique way, having his feet on someone as a source of comfort, which ended up comforting not only him, but those around him.

He will forever be remembered as the little boy who always smiled and laughed and fell asleep cuddled on his mom's and dad's chest every night. David was inseparable from his mother who didn't put any limits on him and made sure David is included in all day-to-day activities, regardless of his disability.

His life will be cherished in the lives of his parents Igor and Marjana Nestorovski, sister Anna E. Nestorovski, grandparents: Anca Nestorovska, Laze (Lena) Nikolov; Uncles Koce (Radmila) Nikolov, Blagoja (Dana) Nestorovski); Cousins Jacob, Daniel, Elena and Ivana; Closest friends Goce Vrencoski, Alex Rodzevski, and Snjezana (Matt) Funke who loved David as their own, and many other close family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by grandfather Vlado Nestorovski, who not only helped care for David, but strongly believed that he can do what many thought he couldn't. The bond between both of them was so strong. Our family is comforted knowing that David is not alone in Heaven and he is happily sitting on grandpa's lap, one of his favorite things to do.

Visiting hours will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday December 1st, at Evans Funeral Home, 4171 E Livingston Ave, Columbus, OH 43227. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 2nd, 11:00 am at St. Mary Macedonian Orthodox Cathedral 400 S Waggoner Rd, Rev. Radovan Cekovski officiating. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Our family would like to thank all of the nurses, therapists and doctors at Nationwide Children's Hospital who took care of David, Dr. Kern at Gahanna Pediatrics, as well as all of the paramedic crews who always responded quickly to help David.
