David Edward Taylor Sr. age 80 passed away peacefully at his residence on Saturday, June 8, 2024, and went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and his loving wife. He is a retired mail handler for USPS.  Veteran Vietnam War US Army.     He was a dedicated member of Pataskala Church of the Nazarene and volunteered for the Storehouse for Jesus Food Pantry.  He was an avid camper, lover of all thing's "cowboy" and gospel music.  Preceded in death by wife, Linda Taylor; parents, George and Mildred Taylor, brother Larry Taylor, sister, Janet Taylor, uncle John Bell.  Survived by son, David (Patricia) Taylor, II; daughter, Corinna Taylor; grandchildren, Kayla (Dylan) Warren, Sylys Whitaker, Ezekiel Taylor, Serena Campbell, Cameron (Catherine) Taylor; great granddaughter Kathryn Warren; sister, Shirley (Larry) Thacker; brother, Robert Taylor; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; other loving family and friends.  Friends may call Thursday June 13, 2024, 5-8 PM Pataskala Nazarene Church 8100 Hazelton-Etna Road SW Pataskala, OH where funeral service will be held Friday, June 14, 2024, 11:00 AM.  Pastor Gary Reiss officiating.
