Demetrius Bushawn Carroll AKA Meechi, 31, unexpectedly passed December 13, 2024. Meechi was born October 28, 1993, in Columbus, Ohio to his mother, Lisa Holland, and father, Trent Carroll.

He attended Northland High School, Columbus State, and Ohio Media School. Meechi was our Mufasa, Michael Jackson, Bob Ross, Comedian, Crypto-King, and business mogul. He formed business plans daily and had aspirations to be a millionaire in the near future.  There was never a dull moment, or a joke unsaid, when Meechi was around. With his bright smile, strong cologne, and country accent those memories will remain. He will truly be missed and never forgotten.

Meechi preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; David and Viola Carroll, paternal uncles; Aminne Carroll and Roscoe Matthews.

He survived by his parents; Lisa Holland and Trent Carroll, siblings ; Amyia Carroll, Devin Carroll, and Makayla Berry, maternal grandparents; Lensie and Brenda Holland, aunts; Heather Lalla, Dailene Carroll, and Tequila Lake, uncles; Leon Holland and Brent Carroll, cousins; Monica Lalla, Brent "Lil B" Carroll, Teashia Flowers, Booker Lake, Corey Chosey, AJ & Anthony Smith, Rico Jenkins, Taylor Clifton, "Mook" Carroll, Leo Holland, Terrence Davis, niece, nephews, and so many more.
