Dimche Kostrevski, 76, was born on April 29, 1949, in Smilevo, Yugoslavia — now North Macedonia. He passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, in Columbus, Ohio.

Dimche is survived by his children, Mary Brutovski (Katherine) and Diana Rees (Mike); his grandchildren, Bianca, Antoni, David, Dominic, and Martina; his brother Blagoi Kostrevski (Vesela) and his family; his sister Liljana Kolikonovski (Ivan) and her family; his sister Mirjana Bozinovski and her family; in-laws Peter Jurukovski, Blagica (Meto) Panov, Snezana (Rale) Stankovik and families and many beloved relatives and friends throughout the Macedonian community.

He is preceded in death by his cherished wife of more than 50 years, Gorda Kostrevski; his parents Pavle Kostrevski, Donka Ivanov, Krume Ivanov; his brother-in-law Stojan Bozinovski; his sister-in-law Luba Jurukovska; and his parents-in-law Cveta "Lola" Jurukovska and Kiril Jurukovski.

In 1969, Dimche immigrated to the United States from Yugoslavia, courageously leading the way for his wife, Gorda, her sisters, and many others to build new lives in America. Together, he and Gorda created a beautiful and prosperous life defined by love, generosity, and unrelenting hard work. For several decades, they ran Sterling Jewelers, Inc., a successful wholesale costume jewelry company that provided stability and opportunity for their family. They later established Bella Doma in Whitehall, a wedding and event hall that became a beloved gathering place for family, friends, and the broader community. Even after selling Bella Doma in 2019, Dimche never stopped working — his hands and heart were always in motion.

To his grandchildren, he was simply "Dedo" — a constant source of comfort, stories, humor, and steadfast love. He treasured time with them, celebrating their accomplishments, encouraging their dreams, and creating moments of connection that defined their childhood. His generosity extended far beyond his immediate family: he was a guide, a supporter, and a steady presence for loved ones and many in the Macedonian community whom he helped along the way.

A lifelong member of St. Mary's Macedonian Church, Dimche's faith and heritage were at the heart of who he was. He was lovingly supported by his extended family, especially his sisters-in-law, Snezana and Blagica, brothers-in-law, Rale and Meto and their children and grandchildren, who gathered with him often to share meals, conversation, and love around the family table. These daily rituals filled his later years with joy, comfort, and a deep sense of belonging.

Dimche lived a life shaped by courage, devotion, and remarkable generosity. His legacy endures in the family he raised, the community he helped build, and the countless hearts he touched.
