Douglas Clarkson Huntley, age 73, passed away in Reynoldsburg, Ohio on June 9th, 2025. He was born to Richard Orville Huntley and Iona Mae Huntley on July 5th, 1951. He graduated from Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. He moved to California to pursue his dream of working in the Aerospace industry, working for McDonnell Douglas and eventually retiring from Northrop Grumman. He earned many awards for his contributions over the years, with his greatest contribution being to the B-2 Spirit.
He had many hobbies ranging from genealogy, photography, and being an audiophile. Music was at his core, always listening to orchestral Christmas music or classical organ scores. If he wasn't listening to music, he was singing or playing it on a nearby piano or organ. His favorite color was blue, and he would theme many of his possessions around this color.
He is survived by his children, Marianne and Adam, his brother David, his sister Darla, as well as his nieces, nephews, and beloved friends. He is preceded in death by his wife, Susan whom he married August 22, 1987, his parents, and his brother Darryl.
