E. Juanita May "Peachie" (mom/manaw/) age 73 of Columbus, Ohio, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on December 12, 2023, at Mount Carmel Grove City Hospital. Born January 26th, 1950, in Columbus Ohio to the late Katherine and Eugene Louch. Preceded in death by her childhood love, John May, of 50 years, two brothers James Righter and Robert Louch. Survived by two sisters Gaynal (Paul) Goebbel and Ginger Wilson, sister in-law Doris Ann Pierce (Mike), brother in-law, Dave Bare, special friends, Micky and Paul Finley, her children Trina (Pat), Ronnie (Nancy), Correna ( Ricky); grandchildren Justin, Jessica, Austin, DJ (Christina), Dustin (Brianna), Mahala (Ryan), Destiny, Johnie, Riley, Little Richard, Ashton; great grandchildren, Kaden, Kalia, Kai, Sawyer, Tatum, Madison (Elliott), Leland, Emma, Charlie, Tyler (Alyssa), Braylon, Sophia, Silas; great great grandchild Tallulah. Many nieces, nephews, and Cousins. Peachie loved life, her family, and all her dogs. She fell in love at the age of 14 and married her childhood sweetheart in 1970. She devoted her entire life to being a loving wife and mother to her children. Her entire world revolved around her family, friends, and loved ones. Always putting others before herself and truly had the gift of love and care for others, a true angel. She was the neighborhood mom and second home to the neighborhood kids. She had the tendency to make everyone feel like they were home. She enjoyed her pets, gardening, cooking and always had something in mind to build or paint at home. A "should of been" school teacher, as she loved to make her own school assignments and give them to her kids during the summer months. Her early years, she was a Sunday school teacher, and the kids loved her. She knew how to have a good time and enjoyed music and dancing, even if it was in the middle of the living room with her Husband. She will be missed so much, and she has definitely left a mark in our hearts, and we will all be less whole without her here. Life will never be the same. We are all lucky and thankful to have had a beautiful soul such as hers to be a part of our lives. This will be tough, and we will try our best to be strong. We will always keep her close through our memories, passing on her words, love and teachings hoping to make her proud. Give Dad/Papa a kiss for us. Until we meet again. We love and miss you! Service will be held at EVANS FUNERAL HOME, 4171 E. Livingston Ave on Thursday, December 21, 2023, from 5-7pm. Following the service will be gathering at The Peking Dynasty 2210 E. Livingston Ave.
