Frances Kay Riese passed away Thursday, January 30, 2025, Mt. Carmel East Hospital. Born in Barboursville WV to the late Francis Crago and Helen Bobbitt (Stephenson/Crago). Graduate of Lancaster High School class of 1966 where she was in the National Honor Society. Lifelong secretary at Rockwell International & Riverside Hospital (Ohio Health). Married to Brent Richard Riese December 5, 1980. She was a passionate ally for cat rescue and a regular donor to ASPCA, a loyal Cleveland Guardian fan, a scorekeeper for her son's little league baseball teams and the Girl Scout leader for her daughter's Brownie troop. She will be remembered for her tasty and by far the prettiest deviled eggs & declared by many to have the best chocolate chip cookie recipe. Preceded in death by father Francis Crago. Survived by husband Brent Riese; Carl & Helen (mom) Bobbitt; daughter Melisa Holter; son Vincent Severing; brother David Bobbitt; son-in-law Shane Holter; daughter-in-law Jennifer Severing; grandchildren Taelor Severing, Vincent Anderson, Samantha & Zachary Armstrong and Isaac Severing; great grandchild Shelby Armstrong.
