Gary Eugene Robinson, 72, was born in Columbus, OH, on April 29, 1951, to
Donald Robinson and Geneva Lovett. Gary completed his education at East
High School. A year after graduating Gary enlisted into The United States Air
Force on April 30,1971 and was honorably discharged May 1, 1974. After
being honorably discharged Gary worked at Wendy's in Flint, Michigan as a
manager. Gary then moved back to Columbus Ohio and worked at Ohio
State University Hospital in management. After being at OSU hospital for so
long, he went to Mount Carmel East Hospital, where he later retired. In
2007, Gary graduated with an associate degree in Applied Science and
Business Management from Columbus State Community College.
On July 14,1999, Gary married the love of his life Delia Norio. Gary was an
avid sports fan and cheered for The Ohio State University Buckeyes and the
Cleveland Browns. He loved cooking, grilling, playing basketball and playing
poker (follow the queen). Gary had a great love of family. Gary was a great
father and provided guidance, support, care, love and hope to his children
and grandchildren. Gary was so caring to the point that he wanted to help
everyone around him.
Gary Eugene Robinson is preceded in death by his Mother, Geneva Lovett
and Father, Donald Robinson, Brother, Charles T. Robinson, Sister, Rejeanae
Robinson, and Nephew Charles W. Robinson. He is survived by wife Delia
Robinson, Children Gary, Rasheeda, Aisha, Damiso, and Veronica.
Stepchildren Frederick, Marilyn (Clint), Rena (Jerry). Grandchildren Trezden,
Jayden, Jayla, Jatina, Kiara, Jashaya, Nyla, Nicholas, Jordynn, Kayleigh, and
Glenn. Brother Donald Robinson (Sharon), Sister-in-law Nicole
(John), Nephew Donald, Macaette and Nieces, Cozette, Raven, Bobbi.
