Harold D Friley, age 72, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2025. He was born September 23, 1952, in Columbus, Ohio. Harold was a member of Local 2077 Carpenters Union where he served as a delegate for 5 years. He retired from The Columbus Showcase as a journeyman Carpenter. He was a member of The Customer Rod Builders Guild, Inc since 2016.   He was best known as an avid fisherman, rod builder, and carpenter.  He loved boating on Lake Erie, fishing and family camping trips.  His greatest gifts were his grandchildren, whom he was in all aspects was their father. He enjoyed sharing his passion and knowledge for fishing, camping and day-to-day events.  He will be missed by his beloved pet Ollie the Dachshund. Survived by his wife Debbie of 45 years, daughters Faustina and Stacy; grandchildren David, Donovan, Mikayla, Jacob, Dani, Abigail; as well as many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father and mother Harold F. and Ilene (Spriggs) Friley, sisters Carolyn Perry, and Sharon Arkley.
