On Monday, August 29 ^th , 2022, James "Jimmy" E. Stephens, loving son, brother, uncle, father and friend, passed away at the age of 50. Jimmy was born on March 4 ^th 1972, in Columbus, OH to David and Geraldine (Pope) Stephens. Although Jimmy never married, he was overjoyed to have the opportunity to father a vibrant 3-year-old, now 10 years of age, who he saw and treated as his daughter. Jimmy had a passion for raising and breeding dogs, fishing and spending time with family and friends.  He will be remembered for his infectious laugh, quick wit, and outstanding sense of humor. Jimmy was known as a man who would do anything for those he loved, no matter what and without question. Jimmy is preceded in death by his mother, Gerry; his father David; and his sister Tammy Stephens. He is survived by siblings David (Deborah) Stephens, Brittany (Jeffrey) Wilson, Brett (Sarah) Stephens; daughter Destiny Salyers; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends who he loved beyond measure.  Friends may call Thursday, September 8, 2022 5-7 PM and Friday, September 9, 2002 12:30 – 1:30 PM EVANS FUNERAL HOME 4171 E.
