Janice M. Steiniger (Cooper) age 65 passed away Wednesday, December 27th, 2023, at Mt Carmel East Hospital. Graduate of Walnut Ridge High School class of 76. She was the baby of 3 much older brothers Gary, Ronnie and Bobby She was married to her husband David for 38 years, she loved him and missed him so much, she talked to him every day. She always had tons of friends and loved family get togethers. She was a waitress at many restaurants, she loved doing that kind of work. She always said it was because she liked dealing with people, she was a people person. Her other favorite job was when she' and her brother Ronnie worked together in the Drive-Thru called Coops Drive-Thru that he owned. She was a very giving person, her door was always open, whether it be for a meal or a place to stay or just to sit and talk. Her greatest treasure and accomplishment, she always said, was her 3 children. She did the best she could for them and they hope that she knew that she truly did do an awesome job raising them and they are extremely proud and thankful to call her mom. Life was only made richer with the birth of her beautiful granddaughter's 16yrs old Nyah and 13yrs old Sophia. They sure Kept their grandma on her feet, but then grandma kept them on theirs. Survived by her 3 children Robert Daniel, Shawna (Chris) Ray, David Steiniger; Grandchildren Nyah and Sophia Steiniger; Sister-in-law MaryJo Cooper; Nephew Derick (Stefanie)Cooper, Julie (Tom) Neff, Tina (Doug) Costello, Rose (Rick) Potter, Paula Stainer, Bruce and Jeff and Dereck Cooper. Many cousins, family and friends. Preceded by Husband David L Steiniger, Mom Rose Cooper, Dad Paul Cooper; Brothers Paul "Gary" Cooper, Ronald Cooper, Robert Cooper; Nephew Mark Cooper.
