We are heartbroken to announce the death of our father, John Allen Gonce.  He passed away peacefully at the age of 86 surrounded by friends and family.  Our dad enjoyed all sports, spending time in Michigan, visiting with family and was always cracking a joke.  He leaves behind daughters, Debra Lee (Scott) Feil, Karen Kathleen Mills; son, Mark Allen (Tonda) Gonce; 8 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; brothers, William Francis (Jean Ann) Gonce Jr, Richard Luis (Kathy) Gonce.  Preceded in death by his loving wife, Willa Marguerite; parents Aracula Brammer and William Gonce; sister, Patricia Ann Elliott; brother-in-law Troy Ellsworth Elliott; son-in-law Mark Edward Mills.  A memorial service will be held Sunday, January 15, 2023, at 2:00PM Community of Christ Grove City 1255 Stringtown Rd Grove City, Ohio 43123.  We invite you to make a donation to The Alzheimer Association at act.alz.org in his honor, in place of sending flowers.

For those that are able to attend in person or via Zoom, the memorial service will begin at 2:00 pm on Sunday, January 15th, Community of Christ - Grove City (1255 Stringtown Road Grove City, Oh. 43123).  All are welcome to stay for a meal following the service.
