John T. "BYPASS" Renshaw, age 60, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2023. John was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Patricia and John C. Renshaw on March 28, 1963. He was a junior high wrestling champion, graduating in the class of 1981 from Euclid High School. John moved to Columbus, Ohio and worked as a DJ and bouncer at Gables before becoming a tattoo artist for the remainder of his life. In December of 2013, he united with the love of his life, Carey Rock. He was an active member of Iron Order, where he met some amazing people who became family. They continuously participated in toy runs, poker runs and donated to various charities, as well as supporting families during the holidays. John talked so fondly of growing up with his siblings, cooking with his mother, and sharing his love for plants with his daughter. His biggest accomplishment was being a Father and Grandfather. John loved so deeply and with his whole heart; he has impacted so many lives with an infectious laugh, humor and always showing up for people. He will be deeply missed and never forgotten. John is preceded in death by mother Patricia Renshaw, father John C. Renshaw, step-son Casey Badgley. John is survived by daughter Brie Osborne; son-in- law, Michael Osborne; grandson, Joshua Osborne; partner, Carey Rock; step- son, Jacob Rock; step- daughter, Aiden Rock; sister, Terri Renshaw; brother, Richard Renshaw; sister-in-law, Lesa; nieces, Elaina and Patricia Renshaw; nephew, Christian Renshaw. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 11, 2023, at Evan Funeral Home 4171 E. Livingston Ave. Columbus, Ohio 43227.
