John Robert White, age 72, April 1, 2024, at Mother McCory Manor. "JR" was born in Columbus, Ohio on August 26, 1951. He graduated from Bexley High School in 1969. He attended Miami University and Ohio State University before beginning a lifetime career working with his father, John K White, at their beloved White's Pharmacy on East Livingston Avenue in Columbus, OH. John continued to operate the store until falling ill in 2022. He was kind, gentle, and soft-spoken but also liked to play guitar, sail boats of all sorts, cross-country ski, ice skate, and socialize with close friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Mary Jean and John K White, he is survived by his wife Virginia E. of Columbus, OH; sister, Martha (Charles) Hill of Biltmore Lake, NC; brothers Mark White of Westerville, OH, and Peter White of Galena, OH.  A Remembrance Gathering for friends and family will be held at date to be determined.
