Obituary

It is with our deepest sorrow we announce the sudden passing of our beloved son and brother, Joshua Jay Needles, age 34, on Wednesday June 14, 2023.  He was born on April 26, 1989.  Josh played many sports when he was younger but felt he was gifted at baseball.  He enjoyed biking and being outside, playing pool and "hanging" with his peer group and friends.  Josh recently formed a "special bond" with the group and crew he worked with at Texas Roadhouse Steakhouse, and they were greatly appreciated by him and his family.  Especially his buddy Mike Esno.  He was very passionate about his house painting career and possibly starting his own crew and business.  His other passion was to help and be of service to anyone that was suffering along the same path he had travelled on all these years.  But the Love of his heart were his children, Alexah and Romeo, his family and his true friends.  Especially his Love for his own new family, Regina Crosby, mother-to-be of his unborn son.  And, their new puppy, Zeus.  Josh was deeply Loved by not only his family but also many others as is evident in these past few days.  Survived by mother and father Robin and Frank Needles; sister Heather L. Lane (Nick Truman), daughter Alexah Sprouse (Sarah); son Romeo Needles (Desi); nephew Anthony Truman; niece Ashley Truman; aunt Arlene Burch; his new family Regina Crosby mother-to-be of his unborn son; close cousins Shawn Needles, Devin Hudson; close friend and advisor Mr. Tim Green; buddy Mike Esno.  Preceded in death by paternal grandparents Dale Sr. and Hilda Needles; maternal grandparents George and Rita (Goldfarb) Lane; cousin Michael Wayne Gaskins; uncles Steven M. Lane, Dale Jr., Ronald, Terry, Albert and Fred Needles; numerous other family members and friends.  Funeral service Thursday, June 29, 2023, 6:00 PM EVANS FUNERAL HOME 4171 E. Livingston Ave. where friends may call from 4:00 PM until time of service. Interment Friday, June 30, 2023, 10:00 AM Forest Lawn Cemetery 5600 E.
