Joyce Faubel passed away at age 73 on January 22, 2025, in Columbus, Ohio. Born February 23, 1951, in Akron Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents Art and Beth Faubel; brother David; and sister Holly Acuff. Joyce is survived by her husband John Ravely, daughter Elise Faubel-Ravely, son Nate Faubel-Ravely, as well as 15 nieces and nephews.

A devoted mother, wife, and member of Brookwood Presbyterian Church, she was an active volunteer and leader in church activities. She had a love of reading, especially children's literature, in which she helped inspire others during her career at the Columbus Metropolitan Library.  With a great sense of adventure, she enjoyed hiking, traveling, and gardening.
