Kermit Marshall Brumfield, of Reynoldsburg Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on October 2, 2024. He was 79 years old.

He is preceded in death by mother, Helen Lucille Lester (Fraley), dad, Jennis Fraley and father, Paul Brumfield.
Marshall leaves behind his wife of 57 years Bonnie Jo Brumfield, and their three children.  Sons, Marshall Keith (Krista) Brumfield, David Scott Brumfield (Katherine Bandman) and daughter, Melinda Jo Brumfield (David Kessel).  Seven Grandkids, Gina (Paul) Lambrose, Alexis Brumfield and Noah Brumfield.  Arianna, K.J., Kaiden & Chloe Clark. And four Great-grandchildren, Lenae, Taylor and Kaleb Manka & Cadie Lambrose.  His 2 siblings, brother, Benson Michael Brumfield (Janeen) and their two children Michael Brumfield and Michelle Ward.  And sister, Sandra (Burl) Toler and her four boys Greg, Terry, Jerry, and Tony Robbins.

Marshall spent his childhood in Bruno, West Virginia.  He graduated from High School in Carroll, Ohio in '62.  Immediately following high school, he joined the Air Force until '66.
Marshall worked as an electrician for Western Electric.  And, as a Facility Maintenance Operator for G.E.

Marshall had a love for God and his country.
His most proud memories were of him being a Scout Leader/Master. He dedicated years of his life to the boys in his scout troop and thoroughly enjoyed camp-outs with all of them. He received the prestigious Silver Beaver Award presented to him by the Governor.
Marshall loved to play Euchre and was a fierce competitor.
He spent most of his spare time with best friends Ron and Harriett Hammel every Friday night playing Euchre at their home here in Ohio and on vacations with them in Wisconsin, playing cards, fishing and laughing.  During his retirement years he loved to play golf and was on several leagues.
He and Bonnie traveled extensively with Family and Friends. Mostly to Branson, MO and to Oklahoma to visit Granddaughter and Great-Grandchildren.

The service for Marshall will be held Thursday October 10, 2024, at Pataskala Church of Christ 9132 Blacks Road Pataskala, Ohio 43062. Calling/visiting hours will start at noon. Service begins at 2:00.  Food & fellowship immediately following the service at the church.
