Kristin Marie Gilmore (Pettorini), of Columbus, born August 28, 1965, died peacefully in her sleep December 12, 2022. Kristin was a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and cousin who valued family above all else. Kristin, a longtime resident of Whitehall, OH, was a 1983 graduate of Whitehall Yearling High School where she excelled in track and basketball. In her earlier years, she enjoyed playing softball and traveling. She was employed by Cleveland Clinic Imaging in Columbus for over 30 years. Kristin raised 3 rambunctious boys whom she accompanied to countless ball fields. When not busy chasing her children or grandchildren around, Kristin enjoyed the beach and pool—always in the company of a favorite book. A master chef, Kristin loved to cook for the countless friends and family that would visit her home. Kristin is survived by her sons Robert (Danielle) Gilmore, Jr. and Joseph (Morgan) Gilmore, grandchildren Zane and Gracelynn Gilmore, husband Robert Gilmore, Sr., sister Katharine (Richard) Graham, brother John Christopher Pettorini, and numerous close friends and family members. She is preceded in death by her son, Sean Gilmore, and parents, Mary Jo & John Pettorini. A memorial service will be held Thursday, December 15, 2022, 1:00 PM at Evans Funeral Home 4171 East Livingston Ave. Columbus where friends may call 1 hour prior to service.
