Larry Gene "Duck" Edmonds age 74 passed away Friday, March 18, 2022.

He was born on January 18, 1948, in Tazewell, Virginia to mother Trula Peggy Edmonds and father David Lewis Edmonds who preceded him in death along with his brother Richard Edmonds.

Survived by his loving wife Emma Marie "Tootie" (Bothman) Edmonds; children Kimberly Ann (Edmonds) Mahaney, David Clark Edmonds (Emily Massie), Tanya Marie (Edmonds) Balkunas; grandchildren, Daniel Markham Mahaney, Madeline Marie Mahaney; Brother Danny (Donna) Edmonds; Sisters Sue (Edmonds) Searles (Tom Searles), Sandra (Edmonds) Whitt (Brad Whitt); sister-in-law, Deborah (Bothman) Tutorow; many nieces and nephews.

He loved sports, football and especially The Ohio State Buckeyes.

Loved watching football with his beloved son David.

He enjoyed golfing, writing songs, and poetry.

He enjoyed spending time with his family at BBQ's, boating, music, dancing, working his job and taking drives on a Sunday.

He enjoyed a good rain so that he could hear the rain drop on a tin roof.

Everyone who knew him loved his kind, gentle soul.

He had a strong relationship with God… who he now resides with in… Heaven.  May you Rest in Peace with no more pain or suffering.

A gathering to celebrate Larry's life and memories following the funeral will be held at the Heritage Church Banquet Hall.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Kidney Foundation or the American Diabetes Association.
