Laura Michelle Davis, 38, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. The world was blessed with her presence on May 28, 1986, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, born to Debbie (McDonald) Gust and Jeff Davis.

Laura was a devoted mother, sister, and daughter. She graduated high school from Groveport Madison and Fairfield Career Center, excelling as a scholar, cheerleader, mentor, and exemplary student. Later, she earned a degree in medical assisting from Bohecker College.

Laura is lovingly remembered by her son, Alijah Miller (age 7); her parents, Debbie McDonald Gust (Bill) and Jeff Davis (Leslie); grandparents, Raymond (Papol) McDonald and Judy (Grandma) Davis; and her siblings; Wendy Davis Wood (Jason), Brittany Davis (Reid), AJ williams (Melissa), Carson Davis, Jay Santmire (Judith), Jennifer Gin (Shawn), Kathy Robinson (Ron), along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. She is preceded in death by her grandmother Nancy (Memol) McDonald, Grandfather Jack (Pap Pap) Davis, great-grandparents Esther (Manga) Butcher (Paul) and Evelyn (great-grandma) Davis, and her sister Amy Gust.

From an early age, Laura found joy in outdoor activities with family and friends,  often dressing up as Sporty Spice whenever she could. Known for her kindness and selflessness, she would always put others first. Laura had a flair for fashion, staying ahead of trends, and was a talented interior designer.  Laura's greatest joy came from spending time with her son, Alijah. She also enjoyed attending church and was baptized at Walnut Heights Baptist Church.  Viewing with Service to follow: April 19, 2025, 10:00am - 12:00pm 4171 E.
