Lois Maxine Crist passed away peacefully on January 16th, 2026, with her son and family at her side, at the young age of 104. She was born on May 19th, 1921, in Princeton, Indiana. Lois is survived by her loving children, Michelle Spahn, Julie Crist, and Thomas Crist; Beloved grandchildren Simone, Billy (Karyn), Mike (Chrisy), Tommy, Katie, Miranda, Stephanie, Nicholas (Shannon), and Zachary; and 17 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son Mike and daughter in law Bonniejean.

Lois wore many hats in her long professional life including a long-distinguished career as an insurance agent and Avon representative. She even decided to pick up a part-time job at the local Wendy's later in life where she proudly worked until the ripe old age of 98! Amidst all of this she also found the time to open her own ceramics studio in her basement where she spent nearly 50 years teaching others the techniques and skills required.  She was filled with an abundance of creativity and artistic talent that spilled out of the studio and into her love of flowers and gardening. On any given sunny day, in her backyard, tending to her plants with her dog by her side, is where she could be found.

Her infectious laugh and wry smile will be missed by all those who knew her.

Friends and Family may visit Evans Funeral Home at 4171 E Livingston Ave, Columbus Ohio 43227 on Saturday January 24th from 12:00-1:00 P.M. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM.
