Lorenzo Edward Butler Jr, 14, of Columbus, passed away on June 3, 2023. Born on June 13, 2008, to Lorenzo Butler Sr and Tanika Butler in Columbus, Ohio. Lorenzo Jr. was a student at Ridgeview Middle School. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and brothers playing video games, basketball and playing practical jokes on everyone to make them laugh. Lorenzo Jr was adored by his teachers, excelled in school, and had a love for science. Recently he took to learning Mandarin as a second language. He was always willing to help a stranger just as much as he was willing to help his family. Lorenzo wanted to be a boxer and spent time with his father and older brother learning how to box. His smile and generous personality will be missed by all that knew him. Lorenzo Jr was predeceased by Grandfather Johnny, Brother Elijah, Aunt Latisha, Uncle's Thomas, Rick and Ricky. He is survived by his Parents, Lorenzo Sr and Mother Tanika Butler, Sister Aireona, Brother's, Khonyea, Tyion, Zion and Levi, Grandparents, Shelia, Debbie and Theodore, Niece Anairea, and Nephew Kai. Services will be held at EVANS FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at 6:00 pm where friends may call from 4:00 PM until time of service.
