Maggie Cumbo, age 79, from Slagle, West Virginia, recently passed away on December 19, 2021, from a long-term illness. She was a dedicated mother of three girls and worked as an electronics assembler at IRD and Micro Industries. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and crochet. She is preceded in death by her late husband Kelly Cumbo. She is survived by her three daughters Tammy Makar (Michael Makar), Bettinna Shannon (Paul Johnson), and Trace Pennell, her stepson Mitch Cumbo (Elvie Cumbo), two grandchildren Samantha Makar (Ben Porter), and Ashley Kordek (Joey Kordek), three great grandchildren Michael Porter, Charleigh Kordek and Nola Kordek, and two sisters Jenny Reed (Jerry Reed), and Tina Shirley (Steve Shirley), as well as many nieces and nephews. The family will be having a viewing at 11:30 am on December 30, 2021, followed by the funeral at 12:30 pm at Evans Funeral Home 4171 East Livingston Ave., Columbus, Ohio. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to The Disabled Veterans in Maggie's honor.
