Margaret Anita "Marge" Meacham (Otto) passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2023.  Marge was a devoted mother, grandmother, wife, aunt, and friend.  Marge's greatest love was her family.  All her children were proud to call her mom.  She was a kind, supportive and caring person to all who knew her.  It was an honor to have known her.  Marge was also a strong and resilient person.  She survived 2 different cancers, but ultimately succumbed to a third cancer.  She was an alumnus of Saint Mary's of the Springs, worked as a secretary for Columbus City Schools for 15 years and was an excellent cook.  She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, water exercise and playing with her fur-grandbaby, Lady.  She is preceded in death by her husband Donald Gene Meacham; parents John and Margaret Otto; sister Judith Casserly and brother-in-law Michael Casserly.  She is survived by daughters Barbara J. Meacham, Pamela A. Meacham, Donna J. (Gregory) Ruckel; son Robert A. (Julie) Meacham; grandchildren Madelyn and Benjamin Ruckel; nieces and nephews Mary, Betty, Johnny, Kathy, Brian and Tricia; other loving family and friends.  Friends may call Thursday, August 31, 2023, 4-7PM EVANS FUNERAL HOME 4171 E. Livingston Ave. where funeral service will be held Friday, September 1, 2023, at 1 PM. Rev. P.K. Fowler officiating.  Interment Glen Rest Cemetery.
