Marilyn Louise Cook age 82, passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2021.  Retired associate of Lazarus.  She was a longtime member of Brookwood Presbyterian Church, now Unity Presbyterian Church where she served on the Mission Committee and was a former Deacon.  She played the cello at church services.  She also taught Sunday school.  She was a Girl Scout Leader. Once a month she would make sandwiches and deliver them to Faith Mission.  Preceded in death by husband, Montgomery Cook; parents, G. Ray and Mille Foster.  Survived by daughter, Susan (Dylan Norris) Cook; granddaughter, Brittany (Nathan Jenkins) Cook; brother, George (Marjorie) Foster; sister, Margaret (Les) Smith; four-legged friend, Daphne; nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends. Friends may call Monday, September 27, 2021  5-7 PM  and Tuesday, September 28, 2021 11 AM -1 PM EVANS FUNERAL HOME  4171 E Livingston Ave. where funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM.  Pastor John Birkner and Pastor Amy House officiating. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The James Cancer Hospital or Unity Presbyterian Church.
