Obituary

Marvin Lee Hall passed away at Baptist Health Hospital in New Albany, Indiana after a brief, but courageous battle with cancer. He was born on March 20th, 1967, in Columbus Ohio, to parents Goldie and Pilo Romo.

Marvin was very active and respected in the recovery community. He found himself again through sobriety on December 9th, 2016, and was extremely proud to be 7 years sober. He helped countless people struggling with addiction on their journey to sobriety with his work through various organizations. And he believed deeply in the success of working a program. He loved his friends and family very much and will be sorely missed by all that knew him.

Marvin was preceded in death by his dear mother, Goldie Romo and cousin Tammy Holbrook Pickens.

He is survived by father, Pilo Romo. Sisters Heather and Tina Layton. Daughters, Katrinna Rawlins, Destiny Payne, and Kazmyn Hall. Sons, Anthony Parry and Jagger Hall. Cousins, Cathy, Sheila, Cassie & Angela. Nieces, Lili, Brittany, Jessica and Olivia. Nephews, Justin, Pedro, Jorge and Antonio. Grandchildren, Logan, Jayden, Tessa & Travis. And his beloved pit bull Felicia.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 6th from 5:00-7:00pm. At Evans Funeral Home, located at 4171 East Livingston Ave Columbus, Ohio 43227.  Pastor Steve Parsley will be officiating. With special friend Jeffrey Poore reading a eulogy. Memorial ceremony commences at 7:00PM.

Cremation services were provided by Magnolia Cremations in New Albany Indiana.
