Mary Frances Coster (Sparks)
Mary Frances Coster, 74, of Canal Winchester OH, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends, on October 11, 2024. Mary was born on April 20, 1950, in Louisa KY to Ada & Paul Sparks. Mary lived a joyous life devoting herself to helping everyone.
On May 1, 2004, she married her soulmate, Wally Coster, and with him explored the world, making friends in every country they travelled. Mary's dimpled smile was ever present and lit up every room. She embraced life with love and humor, filling those around her with wonderful stories & laughter. Being a mother was her greatest joy and she excelled at raising her children to have her open gentle heart and to approach life with humor and love.
She is survived by her adored husband, Wally Coster and great-grandson, Kyler, who they were raising together. She sadly leaves behind her dearest mother, Ada Sparks; her devoted daughter, Lori (Jason) McCormic; loved step-children Lisa, Michael and Angela Coster; siblings, Jan (Rick) Reinhold, Paul Sparks Jr and Rich (Shannon) Sparks; son-in-law, Greg Weglowski.
Additionally, she leaves treasured grandchildren, Tara Robertson, Erin and Kaci McCormic, Zoey Romine, Carson and Zack Amezcua; step-grandchildren Rael Semper and Alexander and Collin Weglowski; great-grandchildren, Kyler Robertson, Dane and Dalton Sanchez; nieces, Stella Sparks, Christine (Bruce) Cunard and Amy (Ben Rivera) Reinhold and Adelaide Cunard; cousins, Ada, Jim and Steve Wellman.
Mary was preceded in death by her beloved children, Ryan Romine and Chrissy Weglowski; father, Paul Sparks; grandparents, Jesse & Mary Kelley, Frances (Emmett) Fenlon and Dan and Nettie Sparks-Wellman; aunt & uncle Betty & Ray Wellman Kitchen and aunt Helen Hamilton.
She leaves behind a multitude of friends including dear friends June (John) Adams and Phyllis Williams and too many lifelong friends to name, as well as her cherished pets, ChaCha, Dusty & Tigger.
Visiting hours will be Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Evans Funeral Home 4171 E Livingston Ave, Columbus OH 43227. Funeral Mass will be held at Evans' at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at 2:30 PM at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 5600 E Broad St, Whitehall OH 43213. Friends and family will gather to celebrate Mary after the burial at the VFW Post 8794, 4100 E Main St, Whitehall OH 43213
