Mary E. Stace, age 90, of Columbus, passed away Monday, January 31, 2022, at home surrounded by family, friends, and her baby TinkerBell. She was born on October 10, 1931, in Waverly, Ohio. She is preceded in death by husband Carl, son Jeff, daughter-in-law MJ, great-grandson Travis, mother, Anna, stepfather Tom, brothers Billy and Don, nephew Scott. Survived by her children Vicky and Steve; grandchildren Steven (Krista), CJ (MaryJo), Tommy (Debbie), Brian, Heather, Jared, Allen, Randy (Jessica), Glen, Lizz (Zac), Cassie; great grandchildren Alex, Breanna, Taylor, Brittney, Bradley, Jocelyn, Madi, Saylor, Kenzley, Kaydence; siblings Jimmy, Dick (Paula), Sue (Bob); sister-in-law's Linda, Dottie; bonus daughter Jean Ann; bonus granddaughter Missy; special friends Frank, Linda, Margie, Carvenia, many more extended family and dear friends. She had the biggest heart and treated everyone as if they were a part of her family and loved to help out anywhere she could by volunteering with numerous organizations. Mary was a 65-year lifetime member and past president of the ladies auxiliary of the Whitehall memorial VFW post #8794. She was the first female supervisor at Western Electric. She was a 35-year Breast Cancer survivor. Funeral service Monday, February 7, 2022, 2:00 PM EVANS FUNERAL HOME 4171 E. Livingston Ave. where friends may call from 12:00 Noon until time of service.
