Michael Louis Salzgaber age 67, went home to be with God, on March 30th, 2021. Born December 19, 1953 to Roy and Julia (Hendrickson) Salzgaber in Columbus, Ohio. He was employed by OSU Medical Center for 38 years. After retiring, he worked for 5 years for Lowes in Mt. Vernon, OH.  Preceded in death by mother, father, son, Michael Lee Salzgaber; brother, Albert Salzgaber.  Mike leaves behind his beloved spouse. Cheryl Trogus-Salzgaber, son Joseph (Delores) Salzgaber, daughter, Tonya Salzgaber, stepson Todd C. Brennan, grandson, Damion Michael Gesling. Many other family and friends, including his best buddy, Jeff Dickinson, and his two beloved dogs, Rocky and TwoBear.  Mike was the founding member of Stone Soup, a classic rock band he started in 1991. He loved playing music and singing, often writing his own lyrics and music.  He loved riding his Harley Ultra Classic. He was a former member of Vaud-Villities. Mike was compassionate and caring, a man with a smiling face who loved the bible and his God.  Funeral service will be held Monday 6:00 PM EVANS FUNERAL HOME 4171 E.
