Michael Duane Woodburn, age 66, passed away Friday, January 27, 2023.  Retired Concrete Finisher.  He attended Walnut Ridge High School where he wrestled and was a star football player.  Veteran US Navy, serving on the U.S.S. Roosevelt.  He was an avid Buckeye fan, voracious reader, animal lover, especially his mother's dog, Gigi.  His trust and faith in the Lord sustained him throughout his life.  Survived by sons, Justin DeGregory; grandchild, Bryna, Aaron Woodburn; Nicholas (Chesley) Woodburn; mother, Joan Woodburn; sister, Tina (Douglas) Girton; brothers, Jackie (Debbie) Woodburn, Stacy (Sandra) Woodburn, Joseph (Amanda) Woodburn, Jay (Michelle) Woodburn; other loving family and friends. Preceded in death by father, Jack Woodburn; uncles Roland Townsend and Forrest Townsend; grandparents, Elzy and Marcella Townsend, Garland and Irene McDonald.  Funeral service Thursday, February 2, 2023, 11:00 AM EVANS FUNERAL HOME 4171 E.
