Neal passed away early in the morning on June 1, 2022 at the age of 71 at the Kobacker House
in Columbus, Ohio. He was surrounded by loved ones in his final days.
Neal is survived by his children Chad (Marla) Miller, Kevin (Gracie) Miller, Amber (Matt) Hart,
and Ashley Miller. His mother-in-law Frances Clark. His sister-in-law Kathryn Chellis. His siblings Rodney Miller, Jimmy
(Roxanne) Miller, Pam (Mike) Littig, and Paula (Keith) Faulkner. His 12 grandchildren, multiple
nieces and nephews and other loved ones.
He is preceded in death by his wife Mickey (Chellis). His parents Edward and Phyllis (Comer).
His sister Nancy Miller. His daughter Courtney and grandson Myles Miller.
Neal was born October 9, 1950 and raised in Columbus, Ohio and moved to the countryside of
Port Washington in a peaceful cabin surrounded by beautiful fields, woods, wildlife, and
wonderful people. He made friends everywhere he went. He was a retired union ironworker. He
enjoyed sports, golfing, fishing, and making everyone smile and laugh. He was an amazing
father and even better grandpa. Neal never met a stranger and made it his mission to make
people laugh.
A celebration of life ceremony will be held Saturday, June 18th at 10am at the Redeemer
Lutheran Church. 1555 S. James Rd, Columbus, Ohio 43227
