Norma Jean Hosier, age 96, died Saturday, August 27, 2022 at StoryPoint Care Facility in Grove City. Norma was born in Lancaster, Ohio on November 30, 1925. She graduated from East High School in Columbus, in 1944. She was a long-time member of the United Church of God. Norma was hired as a "Rosie the Riveter'' at Curtis Wright Factory during WWII. She also worked at a print shop in the Atlas building for 10 years and worked at numerous other jobs throughout her lifetime. Norma is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 67 years, Roland "Ron" Hosier, parents Clara and Walter E. Flowers, brothers Walter and Larry Flowers, niece Mary Barnett, nephew Bob Harper and great-nephew Shawn Heaney. Norma is survived by her children, Lance Hosier, Rhonda (Mike) Napier, grandson, Justin Napier, she is survived by her nieces, Diana Tipton, Sue Harper, Marilyn Jones, Debbie Harper, Barb Benbow, nephews, Richard Thrall, Chuck Jones, David Lyons, and many other family members. She is also survived by best friend, Iris Etter and so many wonderful, caring friends. Special thanks to the caregivers at StoryPoint in Grove City and the Worthington, Ohio Fire/EMS. Visitation will be at Evans Funeral Home, 4171 E. Livingston Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43227 on Friday September 2, 2022 from 12:00 p.m-2:00 p.m. with the Funeral Service immediately following at 2:00 p.m. The funeral will be officiated by Jim Hopkins, Elder.
